Renegades have eliminated ViCi from IEM Sydney following a 16-5 win on Cobblestone at the start of day two.

The first match of day three began with Nemanja "⁠nexa⁠" Isaković's triple, which secured Renegades the pistol round as CT, before WeiJie "⁠zhokiNg⁠" Zhong's 1v2 in the following forcebuy made it 3-1 in favor of the Chinese.

The next two rounds were split between the teams, but from there on, the Australians took hold of the remainder of the half with Karlo "⁠USTILO⁠" Pivac and Noah "⁠Nifty⁠" Francis playing key parts, putting up several doubles including a 1v2 from the latter in the 10th round.

USTILO led the way to Renegades' first victory in their home country

That allowed Renegades to get up to 8-4 and eventually close out the half with an 11-4 scoreline after Aaron "⁠AZR⁠" Ward gave his team another 1v2 clutch.

USTILO continued to lead his pack in the second half with a quad-kill in the pistol round and a triple in the first gunround, as Renegades clinched match point and shortly after the match at 16-5.
